Description

I'm quite proud of how she turned out. I wasn't sure untill the end that I could obtain a costume as close as the original, but look at that? :w00t:
Please let me know what you think :thanks:

:bulletgreen: Intro:bulletgreen:
The Vault is an unique shop that has open just a couple of months ago on The Island. It is located inside the small city/village where Nathan and his friends lives.
If you are a collector or you are simply looking for something rare or unique, The Vault is you destination.

:bulletred: Disclamer :bulletred:
The Vault is proud to present a new collection of high-end, special limited edition, polystone statues of your favorite, most loved, wanted or hated super heroes and villains of all times.
Each piece is carefully master crafted in a very limited quantity (varies from 500 to 1000 units) that you can pre-order from our website when the manifest is published. (Limit 2 per person)
Subscribing to our newsletter you'll know in advance when the Pre-Order will go live so that you won't miss your chance to secure your order.
Every Statue comes in two different versions: Normal and Exclusive.
The Normal version contains your numbered statue.
The Exclusive one (10% of the whole stock) contains the statue with signed base and the original print/photo for the concept, with autograph.
We ship your order everywhere you want but, if you live on the Island, come to visit us, you might be lucky and meet your hero in person!

:bulletyellow:The Details:bulletyellow:
If you are living on The Island or simply visiting for a vacation, you slowly get familiar with the view of super heroes walking around the street like and among ordinary people.
What you'll never get used to, at least for us at The Vault, is how much this people can be friendly and easygoing, especially out last guest at the office: Karen Starr, a.k.a. PowerGirl.
Cheerful like a delightful sprite, working side by side with her to realize a Comiquette that was good enough to be compared to the original 1:1 woman, was a very interesting and yet, at the same time, disarming experience.
We knew that we had to play our cards right and the moment of truth came when we had to show her some of our conceptual art, regarding ... you know her unique costume design; literally holding our breath for long minutes, showing her different panels with sketches about her chest area, we were quite afraid to offend her but, in the ends, she turned out to be one hell of a sweet gal.
"I was thinking: would it helps if I wear my costume now? You know you can use the real me as reference for the statue", she said with such an innocent look in the eyes, biting down her lower lips while checking out the sketch panels again ... What are you supposed to do when THE PowerGirl actually ask you if she can wear her unique costume for you? That's right, drop of the floor and do the worship wave like we were blessed by the Gods (if any out there).

Before deciding on the original costume, we browsed many different idea, including swimsuit and lingerie but, in the ends, why not give her Justice in the best way possible?
Working with Karen was sure a blast and what we are going to say right now, will blow you mind for sure:
after we decided to go for the classic Iconic costume, after recovering from seeing PowerGirl in our office with her costume ... after surviving different heart attack while we took picture of the chest area of the costume with the lady inside of it, we took some minutes to discuss a valid idea to promote the highly limited Exclusive edition of the statue.
While me and my buddy explored technical ways, from a different glowing base to a removable cape, Karen blow our mind, another time with: "Hey! I know! Why don't we enclose with the Exclusive edition a life size poster of my "No Fur"(([link])) photo?", we turned to her like brainless zombies with a dislocated jaw for the awe; "Even better, throw in the post and you guys can organize a day where all the Exclusive buyer will meet me and I'll sign the poster for them with a dedication, sound good right?".
Sounds good ... how on Earth a mere human is supposed to answer such a question? We nod ... just nod for the rest of the afternoon, filling the room with the same kind of baloons that you see in comics when people day dream ... by the end of the day there was a thunderstorm in the office caused by all that day dreaming clouds!
As soon as the pre-orders for the Exclusive edition are sold out, we will contact every customer to communicate the day and location on The Island where Ms. Starr will attend to meet her wildest fan and sign the life size posters. Never been on The Island you say? Well look at that, we just gave you the PERFECT reason to come by!
PowerGirl's Comiquette is 17 inches tall (45cm) and weights approximately 15 pounds (7kg). We worked hard to keep everything in proportion while scaling it down. We really, really took great care to keep Karen's assets as close as possible to her real ones.

:bulletblack::bulletblack::bulletblack:Assembly Notes:bulletblack::bulletblack::bulletblack:
The statues doesn't require any kind of glue to be assembled. The Crystal like base always give a faint light blue glow.
Cape and Belt are kept in place by strong magnet and can be removed to enjoy the Statue with the very basics part of her costume.
