The last time we saw Diana, she was wearing just her boots, trying to figure out what clothing to put on, to back to The Island and take back what it’s hers: Nathan Furian … all the while Barda and Io were arguing on who was the biggest “bust” in town.
Of course anything more than that proud and beautiful face and her statuesque body is superfluous but, again, I dare you to find anybody that will throw away the proverbial “cherry on top”.

I had this “variant” costume idea in mind for a while and more than once I itched to do a quick render and publish it, just for fun. I guess I’m growing up a bit, I’m learning to savor the moment, wait for the right opportunity … yeah sure

Diana is back ladies and gentlemen, in all her glorious beauty and sensuality, from now on I should probably do more renders of her, tons actually and in all the colors of the rainbow :w00t:

As simple as this picture looks, it took me quite several hours of tests and plenty more of render time, plus a decent hour of postwork to put all together and give it a final touch.
But you know, “simple” is what I was looking for: something easy to look and still beautiful, soft, sensual with a dust of elegance, classy and ofcourse just a tear of melancholy (the candle, the glass of whiskey and the book on the table).

Let me know what you think of My Diana and this picture and please, try not to be rude in the comments, kay?

I like the face on this one.  I don't really care for the WW images some people do that make her look like a young "doll" face, infantalizing her.  She's not Wonder Girl, she's Wonder WOMAN.  Yours looks like a WOMAN.  :)

Also: love the tattoo/pubic hair pattern.  Nice detail.

You HAVE to tell me how you get such a nice gold material!

That is because this is MY WonderWoman.
She is not really the canon one, that's why she has a tatoo on her breast and it's more woman than "girl" :) As you stated.

The gold material. It's just a material to be honest. I think it's part of some lilflame products that I bought on renderosity.
It's a "neutral" texture with different nodes for fake reflections and colors actually :)

I take it this was a Firefly render, then?  I've found the fake reflection in Firefly often looks better than the unbiased, real ray traced reflections.

I definitely like your Wonder Woman more than the canon one.  ;)

Yes this is 100% Firefly.
Problem with reflection is they reflect what is around them. So unless you want to create a full room, even what the camera is not looking at and fixing the value of the reflections ... fake ones are better :D

Yeah, I've yet to figure out the best way to "trick" Octane into doing a good fake reflection with a simple spherical reflection map.  Whenever I try it, it just doesn't turn out right.  I'll have to try again.

If you need some good metal materials for poser (originals) I can give you the links of the products in the renderosity store :)

Octane has LiveDB which has a selection of organic and inorganic materials you can use for Octane rendering.  The selection is pretty good and the materials are pretty good, too (but some are very complex and add a lot to render time).
